The fact that you and so many others are saying this is proof that this isn't the worst. You're mad because your board got disrupted. People were saying the EXACT SAME THING about board mergers for the longest time. They said the same thing about the Candy Teams making the board unusable. People said the same thing about the Quarantine, about the Emoticon thing, about the Upvotes.

You didn't like it? Fuck off for the day. It's no different in that respect than most April Fools events that take over the whole site and disrupt regular posting. I'd personally rate it pretty low but at least it felt like a big sitewide event which is what these SHOULD be.

tl;dr: Some people won't be happy until this little tradition is abandoned period.
