99% of games will not have a physical release.

Why would a company bother? It costs more money to put a 16gb flash chip in, especially now they're moving to higher speed storage. Or you can buy 512kb carts with just an encryption key that requires an internet connection.

Nintendo exclusives will be physical, third parties will all be fake physical, for the first year or two. Maybe the memory prices come down, maybe they don't and consumers keep eating up this garbage, and next gen there are no physical versions, just keys on a cart you can resell. And then the gen after that you just have games that are "transferrable", and to keep retailers happy they let them sell limited stock of digital keys, and also buy back keys from the consumers. This will be strictly regulated because otherwise you get the PC steam key grey market.
