>try to reverse course with Infinite and return to classic halo. Matchmaking is released in a laughably bad state. stretch first 2 seasons to take an entire year with minimal content release and slow patches. Player count sees slight spike at release before plummeting to worst numbers to date.

i really don't get why it took 3 mainline games and the dumpster fire launch of MCC that literally took 5 years of patches to fix for Microsoft to finally realize that just maybe they had a problem on their hands with Halo.
