Since it was made for daytime tv its pretty formulaic. There is some basic plot stuff from episode to episode but largely every episode is the exact same:
>Patient with crazy/unusual symptoms is admitted to the hospital
>House and team come up with a quick diagnoses
>There's 20 minutes left in the runtime, so obviously thats wrong and patient gets even sicker
>House has some unrelated eureka moment at the end, solves the case
The episodes people really like are the 10 or so that actually break away from this formula. But the other 90 or so get repetitive fast.
