The people who make Resident Evil are westaboos that hate their own Japaneseness and praise California and capeshit. They are left-leaning. All the fans of the series love capeshit, reddit, and tend to be left leaning. If you havent noticed youve been living under a rock. The games are not scary, the puzzles are not interesting, the story is a clusterfuck mess, none of the characters are any good, the combat is generic as all fuck. But it ticks the "mature, gory, zombies, set in the west, quippy" checkboxes that reddit adores. And why do we use reddit as an insult in the first place? Because they are left-leaning and care more about superficial bullshit like appearing so mature and grown up, thinking DUDE GORE, GRAPHICS, etc are important.

I.e. Reddit. If anyone plays Undertale or Deltarune type faggy shit, its the Reddit Evil fanbase.
