Why in the fuck would you buy a new GPU to play at the medium preset? The chip itself is good enough for to run the games at high settings and the cards are cripled by the lack of VRAM
The funniest thing Hardware Unboxed did is pair up the 8gb 9060 xt with an old 8700k CPU. The 8gb model falls apart even more, meanwhile 16gb is doing fine. So basically if you're trying to cheap out with an upgrade and think because you have an old CPU and run at lower settings you will be fine, you will just shoot yourself in the foot by buying an actual brick lol
