You faggots always say this, but in the era where forced PvP was commonly included in mmorpgs, the genre was the top/most played game genre in the world.

Meanwhile, today, PvP is extremely rare outside of carefully curated trash like arenas or other mini-games, and lo and behold, the mmorpg genre is so devoid of inspiration and so stale that the most popular game remains 20 year old WoW and the second is 10 year old FF.
And both their numbers are miniscule compared to the peak of the genre.

So you fags always make this claim that PVP ruins mmorpgs, but the history and current state of the genre does not in any way reflect this.
