it gets usable movepools in later generations but having its best rock STAB be an egg move is not great for playthroughs
and it doesn't get a single move that isn't rock, steel, or normal type via level up at all, even in gen 8 despite it making perfect sense to learn other moves; virtually every other mon gets at least a few non-STAB moves via level up

maybe it could be way better if it had actual special bulk and no rock sub-type, but you're a fucking retarded newfag if you think GF will ever buff anything that isn't a shillmon

the insulting thing is that it could mitigate a lot of its typing issues with terastal but it was dexcut from the one gen where it could be genuinely viable in some format or another

it's not abysmal (I have a few for raiding/bashing gyms) but at some point its max CP starts plateauing without ludicrous candy investment
either of its types are decent enough for raiding but there's better rock and steel attackers out there
at least it's possible to get it over 2.5k+ CP without extreme candy investment, which is better than what can be said of so many other mons in pokemon go
