I don't think it's got even a single fan Pokemon with the ability where each successive protect decreases in chance to 2/3 instead of 1/3. Would it be broken. This is it. Here you have it. This little shit is the most forgettable Pokémon as of 2025.
It's a gen 4 Pokémon so it didn't exist in the first 3 gens. It can't be caught in the wild in any game and barely if at all any trainers use it in the gens that it appears in (4, 5, 6, 7). And that's another one: it can't even be obtained in the last two gens (8, 9).
The design, typing, abilities and stats are all unremarkable, and it's just another bug/flying mon.
The counterpoints are that it's part of a branched evolution, as only male burmy can evolve into mothim, while females will evolve into wormadam, another arguably forgotten Pokémon. Nevertheless, burmy is rare enough (and male burmy even more so), as it can't be caught in gens 5 and 7, and it's very rare in HGSS and XY.
In addition (unlike wormadam) even if burmy has different forms, they're aren't preserved when they evolve into Mothim.
This gender exclusive evolution gimmick doesn't make it remarkable enough, especially not now when we have 1025 Pokémon, and when a ton of them have gimmicks of their own.

Stfu retard no one has mothim as their favorite, not eve in the top 10, I refuse to believe it. I'm having more fun with it than with most pokemon games, and i'm a true fan of the series that loved Scarlet and Violet despite it's bugs and graphical issues, Pisces is just everything good about pokemon cranked up to a max without all the shitty parts, plus it gets away with some lewder and more adult stuff that the official games could never be able to, I'm on gym 6 right now and depending on how the game continues from now on it may replace HGSS as my favorite pokemon game ever

Raikou's is the most jarring because it happened within the same generation. At least if other Pokémon went through redesigns, it was probably after years of existing. But Raikou just looked fucked in Gold & Silver, looking nothing like the official Sugimori art until Crystal.

Part 10.
I begin my nuzlocke by taking on the sixth gym leader Winona and I come prepared with a smart strategy despite how difficult she can be. So first Manectric used Thunder Wave to take out Swablu, then out comes the infamous Altaria, my Pelipper takes a Dragon Breath before using a powerful Ice Beam to take out Altaria in one hit eliminating the main problem, then Camerupt uses Overheat to burn Tropius, Manectric uses another Thunder Wave to one shot her Pelipper and finally my Camerupt vs her Skarmory, Skarmory hits Camerupt with two Aerial Aces and Camerupt misses with one Overheat but the second Overheat melts the metal bird and I have won the battle against Winona. All her pokemon went out in one hit. Afterwards I infiltrated Team Magmas Hideout and took out Tabitha first who was a joke. Pelipper beat his Numel, Lombre beat his Camerupt, Manectric beat his Zubat and Blaziken beat his Mightyena. Then I battled the leader Maxie after he already released Groudon. Manectric took out Crobat, Pelipper took out his Camerupt and my Blaziken took out Mightyena. Afterwards I do the same in Team Aquas base and I beat Matt. Manectric dealt with Mightyena and Golbat. After infiltrating both bases, I catch a Sharpedo using a fishing rod and fail to catch a Wailmer, I'm at Mossdeep City and tomorrow I will be exploring Shoal Cave.
Any advice for the water routes? the most underrated eevee <3 Now that I think about, why does Rika specialize in ground-types?
