>camping lets you feed, clean and treat your pokemon's wounds assuming you have those items in your inventory
>you can camp in your secret base or out in the wild
>berry farming is required to get that regions food item
>your regular stats plus the sheen based off the regional food item calculate the stats for side modes (contests, musicals, pokestar studios, pokeathelon etc)
>winning side modes not just gives the player items that they can use for berry farming or battles but higher affection and friendship
>affection/friendship raises not just exp yield but also EVs gained
I probably made it sound over complicated but the tldr everything in pokemon should complement the collecting and battling. Streamlined for normies to get but autistic enough fore hardcore players.
