That's the problem with Leon's battle theme. It's mediocre on its own, but in context, it's horrible. Using the Hall of Fame like that gives off the vibe that I've already won and he might as well throw the match rather than the vibe of fighting through a tough battle against the Champion of Galar.
It also severely muddies the music-character association. It doesn't tell me much about Leon as a character or how Galar's league sets itself apart from the others outside of the stadium cheers. "Let's use the Hall of Fame because he, and soon (You), are Champions," or at least that's what I got out of it.
