In native English, you're halfway THROUGH a game. It's a subtle difference, but English is littered with tiny details like that. No native speaker would ever say "halfway in the game". In your subsequent post >>57658687 here, you say "Now go run with your tail between your legs", but a native speaker would always phrase it as "Now run off with your tail between your legs". Don't beat yourself up about it, though. There are people who have lived in the Anglosphere for decades that still make these kind of mistakes on a regular basis.
