I bought an Ultimate 2C for my gf for 20 bucks on sale and liked it so much I got one for myself. In my opinion this is the best bang for your buck for new controllers. Hall effect sticks, clicky d-pad, great trigger with play. I don’t think you’ll find something better for cheaper, you just gotta put up with them being pastel colors for the wired kind.
