Something that could put people off of them is that you do need to git gud in order to beat these games. Contrary to Deus Ex's reputation, not EVERY playstyle works in EVERY situation, and you need to learn that. Planescape Torment allows you to get through most of the game foregoing battle, then suddenly throws a ton of hard fights at you toward the end, which you can't win if you minmaxed incorrectly, effectively softlocking you.
