the first one is oke of *those* games where it's damm hard, not fun hard, but frustrating hard. unfair at some points. you have to be very, VERY patient. in my experience, played them for rhe first time in the ps3 genesis collection. loved them, but ecco 1 forced me do something I didn't want to do: see playthrough (at the last level, Welcome to the Machine, think that was the bame), and worse: had to use savestates! I have no idea how people beat it back then fair and square. it sounds impossible to me

but yeah, they are 16-bit gems, games that weren't just games, they were things that left me thinking, they're that great
