Then you did something very wrong or you did your best to skip every minigame and mini castle because we used to have dozens of them by the time we finished the game, and then we started cracking the 100% score.

Which ones? all the bosses are piss easy except Bowser.
And you can just hit the enemy with a red egg and spawn more stars (have a green egg rebound to change colors, you can also farm red eggs by having them rebound and then licking them to stop them from flying, then you just pick them up).

The red coins I can give to you, those were sometimes annoyingly hidden but oh no I had to explore the stages, big fucking deal. Also if any of the yellow coins are orange, you know they have a red coin.
