I love Puyo Puyo, it's so much fun!
Not my absolute favorite Vs. Puzzler (Panel de Pon is my #1) but way, way up there for me.

One thing I think isn't obvious to new players is that even though every game in the series shares the same basic mechanics, they vary wildly in difficulty.
I have 100%'d some entries in the series, and then there are others where I can't even make it past Stage 3.
If you're new to the games, I think its best to bounce around to lots of different entries, find one you do well in, and try to push through and conquer that one. Then you kinda bounce around again.
In the meantime, you'll get lots of practice at the fundamentals of the series.
It doesn't take too too much experience to be able to consistently 4-chain or 5-chain, and that's enough to beat some of the easier titles.
