true, it's also getting saturated by "remasters", which bring very little new to the table.

from what i remember at time when it was released, it was praised for its graphics and audio but the gameplay was just wtf. it's not one of those kinds of games people would go back to like a sonic or mario title so there's a lot less love for it and ecco isn't as memorable in the public's mind.
