I did 3 dungeons today.
>thieves hideout
Was alright. Kind of a neat enemy gauntlet, and the boss was cool and made me use a potion. I actually left after finding the woman using the mirror (her not wanting to go out that way gave away the secret) and got my sword upgraded. Found the toad to the south.
>ice dungeon
Was really fun. I liked the looping nature of it, the puzzle at the end, and the boss at the end was good. Nice.
>swamp
Didn’t like this one. Was kind of a bullet hell dungeon. The boss actually killed me ay the end but it was really funny, I went in low and panicked after lightning hit me for THREE HEARTS so I went to use the fairy as a heal instead of on death, I didn’t know it came out of the bottle first before healing me properly and the small eyeball hit me and killed me and since I had no fairy in my bottle, it game over’d me. But I used the blue staff next time and beat the boss with one heart remaining after rushing back, this is like dying to the first boss in Castlevania IV but its funny so I don’t care. One of my least favorite dungeons so far, though. Better than the eastern palace, maybe?
