I don't think this is a fair dismissal of Krauser. I don't dispute that you don't like him but you haven't really thought about why.
After all 'cool but generic' also applies to Shao Khan. Pic related is another character of the same genre; both Warduke and Khan are archetypal 'generic' dark lords. Generic isn't bad so we can ignore it as a problem.
That leaves Krauser just being cool. I want to know what actually makes him lesser to you.
Is it just because Khan is a powerful warlord and sorcerer and Krauser can't really compete?

I agree with the rest of the list and that Khan is the best fighting game boss.
