no but most people probably have a bunch of shit running in the background or steaming youtube at 4k while also on discord, depending on system specs too many processes will eat into your ram and max out your cpu usage.

you should burn at x4, when i burned at x6 i would get jumps in FMV's, if you still get jumps at x4 your ps2 drive is fucked, i used to repair ps2s for my job and we would get jumps in FMV's on a stock console with retail discs, fat dvd drives are that shit.
