I was in the process of putting together a cruiser/destroyer escort before i just gradually stopped playing. Tbh there's nothing encouraging multiple-ship playstyle imo and its a pain in the ass transferring men and materiel back and forth. Nothing beyond more efficient point use for weapons, iirc, anyway.
