That is one thing I don’t agree with, the focuses in CK2 were extremely railroads on its event paths. CK3 could do with more events but having every cunt that follows scholarship go down the identical set of choices for discovering a star, or similar for other focuses, felt much worse.

I’d say it is the opposite, most features they add are overtuned to sell DLC.
