any european ally who helps you is looking at the prospect of doing most of the work so you've got to sell that well
offering uncontested cns to non colonizers is a bargaining chip because it's free merchants but then that assumes you're in any position to stop them and odds are they don't benefit from the trade power so it's not a great token
if you do manage to survive then you can be quite powerful even with your trash nodes

with that many enemies you will simply die
you need friends but when you're across the map why would anyone be your friend as it's so hard to join forces
if there is an indonesian or japanese player then they can be a great ally since they're in a somewhat similar position
you're unlikely to ever manage naval dominance over europe but if you do manage it then you're safe
do not sleep on navy it is vital
