200 years into EU4 is 1644. 200 years into EU5 will be 1537, barely even getting to the Reformation.
Flavor and content is literally always frontloaded, for people that actually want to play in the time period the game is supposed to be about it's going to be a fucking wasteland. I'll never understand the retarded decision-making behind 1337. The game needs more focus and flavor instead of being watered down over an additional 140 years.
It should have been 1453-1815. But now people can play as the funny blurple blob for 100 years over and over unto exhaustion at the start of the game. Pure cancer.
