To time loops (personal ones), sure, but to these specific ones that didn't happen, nah, they can't get undebunked.

So where are they? The problem is that if they kept their memories we'd find records about them in the past, this wasn't a thing where they jump to an alternate dimension that is still in the past and never see them, they were supposed to jump to a version of this rewinded reality, so they could just leave evidence of the loop.
We don't see any sign of them, so nobody looped, the date was some arbitrary lie to get attention, and it worked as we keep talking about them.
