That’s because you’ve got a useless New Age concept with you OP. Crystals are said to have metaphysical powers yes, but the notion it’s due to energy is a modernization and scientistic understanding of an older concept.
The reason minerals are said to have metaphysical properties is because they are also said to have souls of their own inside of them. This is an animistic concept that survived in the western world. In ancient and medieval times crystals like you’ve got in your pic were considered to be alive, and thus could be interacted with like any other person or animal if you knew how to.
And I don’t know how to, nor do I know anything else about this beyond the bare basics because I haven’t studied it very much, though I’d like to.
