Anon, there's a whole lot more at play here than you seem to realize. I really don't want to spoil it for you because it's very fun to figure out and learn more about, but I do feel obligated to share this with you.
The OA is a story about Time, but not in a way you'd regularly recognize. They make loads of references to Hypnos, so I can't blame you for jumping to liminality, as it's a serious theme of the show. With that being said, the show is about "captive angels" breaking free of their prison. This is a reference to Samsara. Prarie/OA, being locked initially locked in a physical prison, later learns there's more to the game than she understood and that "prison" was a bad way to receive the condition. H.A.P. is actually her Shadow (they're inseparable because he's apart of her). She can't go somewhere and not take him with her.
I don't intend to equate Saturn to Shadow by any means, but what's really going on, at least in the first season, is H.A.P. is overseeing Samsara for them (their persistent rebirth a la NDEs and being trapped in a prison - you get it) and thus plays the role of the Reaper (they call him the Angel Hunter). Thus, Time is Saturn's domain and, while locked in the "prison", the Angels realize their only real adversary is Time. After figuring this out, they start to Dream (thus references to liminal spaces and very thematic in the next season) and figure out there's a whole world inside. "Learning The Movements" is thus a reference to bringing the Inner to the Outer and ordering chaos (doing a magic) to "jump to another dimension".
Prarie is Lucifer, the "Original Angel". She isn't allowed to "leave", but she is allowed to "shift to a better timeline" and that's what she begins exploring at the end of Season 2, where she learns from The Tree who she really is and what she can really do.
