i am unsure if this thread is ragebait but if it is well done, ill break down the most obvious issues
number 1. modern hinduism is as much about the vedas as some fringe protestanism is about original christianity / abrahamism
number 2. you're a westerner (me too TM), we've been raised with philosophy that the ego and the individual are what we are, for us to go into shaktism would require us to let go of all of that
number 3. the "you need guru to achieve moksha" shit is pretty bs, there are warnings about spiritual stuff about how if you go at it alone you can end up with psychosis and stuff, but you do not "need" them to achieve it, think of it like saying "oh you Need to have a building inspector to build a hut in the woods", you don't but it can help, it can also be that the building inspector is a complete hack that is just there to fleece you for your money

the dude went to a "professional" to say he wanted to be enlightened, the dude should have just told him to read /lit/ and let him get bored of his fad like most westerners do or get super into old sanskrit poems like a autist
telling him "you are not ready grasshopper" is literally ego bait into "oh yeah, i will be!" which won't fly with his goal of shaktism, should have just given him a link to some book about shaktism and let the dude bash his head against a wall until he gets bored of it and realizes that simping for a hindu goddess probably isn't the best way to cut your ties to reincarnation
