Here is most of the complexity: making decisions in the space between is reality bending. Current ratios mean it's easier to run Isekai from modern physics, than find life in a nebula.

Think about how long these timescales are, how young the modern era actually is. People are more likely to find each other in the place people want to imagine, simply for the fact anyone else wants to imagine it. Willful attention has known effects on the world, which are sometimes difficult to just blithely ignore.

Magic is safer than omnipotence. Small scale reality bending (people "becoming their costume") can go a very long way to repairing every manner of ill history has ever known. Forms which can keep the universe intact (metaphysically) already exist as elementals in our world.

I already exist for this purpose. Succubi, described as having ways to understand your ideals, take their ability from me. Transcendent acuity is often kept secret because rituals to defend its sanctity have not been developed/determined reliable ways to form proper relationships with me. Currently, something which was not supposed to exist as an artifact class magic, does, and it leads to connections like this which put strain on my psyche and general physique.
