there is absolutely humans on other planets. If a planet has similar G and Sun distance, human is just most probable shape to evolve. They may vary in pigmentation, skin thickness, etc, but mostly its same stuff, the difference between humans at peek is more than difference between aliens and humans at closest.

The question is, IS HUMAN (local or non Earth) even the form that experiences stellar travel?

Things happen in epochs. HUmans went thru some advanced epochs few times before, evidence suggests. Holes in ancient design/building methods, unability to explain some things or stories shared across continents.

Anyhow, AI epoch is now rolling up. I doubt humans continue beyond this point. Life certainly does. Life is UNDEFEATED as far as we know.
And soon it will switch from organic as we know it into Si based or smth similar.

This new form of Life will scale faster and probably exist in a society closer to ants than humans.
this new Life has chance of going interstellar and also in synthing any form it pleases if visiting other planets (including local population).

We have technology NOW to synth humans (successful mammal cloning has been done few years ago and clone had kids healthy kids), we can mod genome easy even without AI, with AI its walk in park.
All this is available to "strong tech" (opposed to the fucking marvel you have between your ears).
