people absolutely need and crave punishment. whether it's physical or psychological depends on circumstances. hitting someone is usually not ideal, but sometimes the best possible answer within reach.

again you're not letting them go through challanges their unconscious self craves by helping them out in the conscious level. not good.
>comfort my friends when they need comfort
solace is a hinderance and absolutley way overused in contemporal human society. going through emotions you haven't before widens your consciousness. being able to endure a negative emotion at depths you couldn't before makes you able to also perceive its positive counterpart and unprecedented levels. solace means dampening emotions, stumbling the growth of consciousness and is absolutley frowned upon by God.

experience. let go of the desire to understand, even if you're going through pain, irrationality and hopelessness and the same time. experience your thoughts, emotions, and deeper feelings the best you can. even your sense of injustice, nothing wrong with that.
but do not lose sight of faith.
